Scurvy Scallywags

Scurvy Scallywags is puzzle game with a bit of role-playing thrown in where you control a pirate with a clear goal: to become the lord and master of the seven seas by force of 'connect three,' which is the way that all of the confrontations will be resolved.

You have to move your pirate around a board that is full of different types of objects: swords, gold coins, bottles of rum, stones, and so on. When you match three of the same object together you will make them disappear and receive some sort of benefit. The goal of each level is to do away with an enemy that also appears on the board.

In addition to starring in this kind of unique combat, you can build up to nine different pirate ships and obtain more than a hundred objects that allow you to personalize your pirate protagonist (hats, shirts, boots...).

Scurvy Scallywags marks the return of Ron Gilbert (one of the creators of Monkey Island) to the pirate theme that made him so famous. And he is back with style. This is an outstanding 'connect three' game with very original touches and a special charm.
